Somali Farmers Association (SFA) is a professionally-managed, non-profit, and non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and advancing agriculture in Somalia. Founded in January 2015 by a group of independent Somali youth, SFA brings together expertise, innovation, and local knowledge to empower farmers and strengthen agricultural livelihoods. Our mission is to provide farmers with access to timely agricultural information, training, and resources that enhance productivity, sustainability, and resilience. With a committed team of 1–11 staff members, we work closely with local communities to implement programs that address the challenges facing Somali farmers today. At SFA, we believe in fostering inclusive development, promoting modern farming practices, and creating opportunities that contribute to food security and economic growth across Somalia.
